Socio-economics

Much of what is being passed around these days is about how the American "middleclass" continue to be crunched by the current economic state of affairs. Nothing could be further from the truth. However, rather than assume responsibilty... blame is instead being passed around. One of the easy targets is "greed" of the elite (who are only instead further distancing themselves by being "pushed" away in a way), the other...those at the bottom of the class ladder (who are on the other hand being left further behind), deemed to only have themselves to blame.

Call it the "me" generation. It could easily have been the impetus which propelled the most recent period of economic rise. Just like any other movement or cycle however, it had limitations. Attempts to "reach up" far overwhelmed efforts to "reach down". Now, we are seeing the frustrating results, the middle-class drifting on a cloud further down from the top, as it is further up from the bottom.

There is a reason why the Pyramids at Giza have existed across the span of their history. It is a natural law of events. The wider and more durable the base is, the higher and more solid the upward thrust becomes.

A pause, meanwhile, to let the analogy be reviewed and examined.
