The Iraqi War...
Sen. McCain's heroism is without question. Unfortunately, his patriotic experience has been on wars started wrong... and gone wrong. Vietnam was a political war implemented militarily to settle different socio-economic ideologies. When the U.S. finally left the war "unfinished", the rest of Southeast Asia did not domino into Communist hands contrary to then U.S. preachings. In fact, diplomatic ties have now been revived with the former adversary instead. Obviously, no lessons learned. Iraq is yet another such war. After countless lives have already been lost among both Americans and Iraqis, families fractured and societies permanently scarred, how can an eventual win be practically still claimed ?
