Energy costs will continue to rise... as long as talk is cheap. It's never too late to be real and consider the urgency of managed urban density with integrated communal transportation systems. True, there are drawbacks... mostly social tentativeness in adopting policies geared toward neotraditionalism. Consequently, it's no surprise that the ecological issues society can ill afford to ignore are easier tolerated than be pre-emptively addressed to. Special kudos goes to Portland Oregon... for its insistent dedication to walk the talk....
