The optimist that I am, if there is an aspect we can attribute the Bush era to with hope... is the idea that the U.S. now has a barometer which the country can perhaps mature from. Clearly, the experience has in fact now galvanized a new American electorate, no longer willing to remain the previous generations' passive cross-section of voters...
