Ah, spring... terrific greetings to all! What an opportune time to jumpstart anew our attempts to be resolute, in accomplishing what we set ourselves out to achieve since the beginning of this year. With renewed vigor, let's re-focus ourselves to the new paths we have each determined to personally take... in case we let the season just past dampen our enthusiasms somewhat. Indeed, let the new season spring us to the inspired selves we wish us to be.
Meanwhile, my discussions of late have primarily been on health and wellness... which for now, I will as randomly and spontaneously continue to. Thus, the following personal notations:
Wellness.. is gauged not only by our physical state, but also by how positive our mental and spiritual constitutions are.
Attitudes, just like physical fitness, can in fact be conditioned... and shouldn't be allowed to become such issues we find ourselves resigned to because of pressures outside our control. A belief on the contrary should instead be construed as denial and escapism. We are all born gymnasts. However, by choice, we don't all end up as one. A gymnast doesn't have any more muscle groups than what a normal person has . Rather, why we become the characters that we are, is really because of the discipline we choose... and the environment we insist on situating ourselves in.
Stress can be beneficial. But only if self-induced and not impressed on one by others, nor by situational pressures unintentionally maneuvered into. A good measure of positive stress is one's ability to weave out of a chosen comfort zone, and to confidently weave back in at anytime without the need to rely on someone else... nor hope for some unlikely event to first occur.
Cheers!
